On 17 June 2017 EAM inaugurated a portal for Know India Programme (KIP), the Ministry’s flagship initiative for engagement with young overseas Indians. The portalwww.kip.gov.in enables Indian-origin youth to apply online for KIP programmes. Know India Programme (KIP) is a flagship initiative for Diaspora engagement which familiarizes overseas Indians with their Indian roots and contemporary India, through a three-week orientation programme organised by the Ministry. Since 2004, 48 KIPs have been organized in partnership with State Governments with a large number of participants.
This is to inform that the Ministry of External Affairs has already announced 49th to 52nd KIPs on the KIP Portal. The registration is open for Indian Origin Youths between the age group of 18 to 30 years. In the Application Form, the applicant should indicate his preference for each KIP, in the order or priority. Ministry will attempt to allot the first preference of each applicant to the extent possible.
